Walkers' Haute Route - Grade Trek Plus - 9 Days.
Dramatic views of the Matterhorn & Mont Blanc. Spectacular walking. Climb to the base of the Matterhorn.
This
is the Walkers' Haute Route that links Chamonix, Arolla and Zermatt.
Although lower and easier than the Classic Haute Route you will
immediately find yourself immersed in the incredible mountain scenery,
the very best in the Alps. Skirting glaciers, we ascend passes gaining
breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks, including the 4000+m
giants of Dent Blanche, Zinalrothorn and Weisshorn and of course, Mont
Blanc and the Matterhorn. On reaching Zermatt, as a climax, we will
take a final steep walk up to the Hornli Alpine hut, situated directly
at the base of the world famous Matterhorn. Suitable for the
experienced trekker who is used to rugged terrain and has a good level
of fitness. Accommodation will be in a variety of hotels, gites and
spectacularly located mountain refuges.

Classic Haute Route - Grade Trek Plus T - 14 Days
The
complete traverse Chamonix to Zermatt. Ascent of the Pigne d'Arolla
and the Tete Blanche. Spectacular views of the world famous Matterhorn.
Classed
as one of the World's greatest mountain journeys, the Classic Haute
Route is challenging, linear, high altitude trek that links two of
Europe's most famous mountains, Mont Blanc and the Matterhorn. It
involves crossing numerous glaciers (training given) and ascending many
high passes but the rewards are absolutely stunning and a journey to be
remembered. You will be able to claim two summits, the Pigne d'Arolla
and the Tete Blanche. Overnight stops will be in Alpine refuges. Use
of crampons and basic rope skills required.
