Dartmoor & South West Coast Paths

We offer many options for some great walks and treks in beautiful Dartmoor and on the famous South West Coast Path.  You can do this with our local leader or on your own (self-guided).  Accommodation can be arranged from 4 star hotels to B&B's to camping and you can of course combine this with other sightseeing of the South West Region.

Our advice would be to look at the following walks which have been chosen in able to offer you many options within just a few walks.

Dartmoor

Postbridge Waterfall Trek - Approx 13 km
North Moor Trek - Approx 14 km
9 South Moor Tors - Approx 15 km
Princetown Round Trip - Approx 20 km 

Non-technical treks but in places strenuous. Experience not essential but reasonable level of fitness required. Each trek shown is about 4-5 hours. On the treks we can also spend time having a look at the Moorland Visitor Centres.

South West Coast Path -  Kingswear to Brixham

Part of the famous South West Coast Path from Kingswear to Brixham. This trek can be accomplished in one day (about 5-6 hours walking) although due to it being quite strenuous in places we offer the chance to complete it over a two day period. It offers many contrasts from sheltered coastal valleys to rugged cliff top locations, tranquil beaches to remote headlands. The trek is not technical, but at times a few tough gradients and the British weather can make it challenging. There are magnificent rewards for the intrepid, with great views along the entirety of the trek and a real sense of achievement on completing the walk. Few places can have such a splendid background of coast and countryside and with your accommodation in Torquay or Dartmouth you will have a truly memorable and lifetime experience. Please also note we do offer extra routes on the South West Coast Path just let us know which route/path you would like to do and we can tailor make your itinerary with a leader if you wish.

Accommodation 

You have a choice of accommodation from 3-5 star Hotels, B&B's, Inns or even camping and your place of stay can be either on Dartmoor or nearby at Exeter, Plymouth or Torquay.  For the South West Coast Path Trek we also offer accommodation in Dartmouth. Torquay offers a vibrant stay with its beautiful beaches and cosmopolitan town, whereas Dartmouth offers a more tranquil and picturesque location. Exeter and Plymouth are fantastic cities with much to explore whereas Dartmoor offers the tranquillity of the wonderful outdoors and wilderness. If you are looking to do more routes on the South West Coast Path then we can also arrange accommodation for any part.
