Borneo Wonders

When we put this trip together we spent a lot of time ensuring that the itinerary was made so that you can really discover the wonders and spectacle of Borneo from its wildlife to an optional summit of its highest mountain, Mt Kinabalu (4101m) (you don't have to summit you can do just part of it) and ending with a relaxing beach stay.  Plus we have two options a 13 day trip and a longer 17 day trip with the latter taking in the beautiful Clearwater and Wind Caves and the majestic Pinnacles. These extra days offer more trekking and you don't need to be super fit just a reasonable level of fitness is required.  We also offer on both trips the amazing one night stay with the Rungus Tribe on the northern part of Sabah. The Rungus are a wonderful friendly community of sedentary farmers and you will stay with a family for the night and also watch the breathtaking sunset view across the South China Sea.

Our trip spends time for you to see the wonderful wildlife of Sabah, the tropical rainforest, the tea plantation and of course staying at the Sepilok Jungle Resort where you will come to face to face with the enchanting Orang-Utans.

For those of you that would like to summit Mt Kinabalu we do this over two days (if you don't wish to summit you may do just part of it) with the first day being a stay at the Laban Rata Resthouse and day two we start the trek in the early morning and all (both those who summit and those who don't wish to summit) meet late afternoon for the short drive to a stay that evening at a local lodge outside the Park.
